Education

As in the past the Department of Clinical and Forensic Toxicology (LabToxx) of the laboratory Krone will offer further education around the subject of Fitness to drive in the context of MPA. The training focuses on the way urine and hair samples should be collected for the analysis of drugs of abuse and ethylglucuronide and on the interpretation of test results.

 

MPA - Fitness to Drive

If a driver loses his driving license as a result of drug or alcohol offense he has to prove abstinence for several months up to one year. The exact conditions of drug testing in urine or hair are different from country to country and depend on the individual situation. In Germany the drugs to be tested in urine or hair are listed under MPA Tests.  The laboratory analyses are done in the context of a Medical Psychological Assessment (MPA). more »
